More about Jenny King - "Before I came to University I joined a conventional gym and I hated it so much I only went once. Now I’ve found Ladyzone and
with it only being 30 minutes out of my day I come 4-5 times per week which means I’ve seen great results. The staff and members are so friendly and encouraging and I still enjoy coming even after a year! Also the induction and reviews are not intimidating which is something that I disliked about my old gym.
The circuit isn’t limiting so it’s easy to make progress and because progress is always monitored I always feel motivated to keep on coming. I’m currently training to pass my fitness test for the police and can still do the specific exercises needed at Ladyzone within the 30 minute circuit.

More about Paula McDonnell- 'Having been a member of numerous gyms throughout the country over the last 20 odd years, I always followed the same pattern. I would start off with huge enthusiasm and wholeheartedly embrace the 1-1.5 hour workout that I would be given.
Then after a few weeks when the boredom would kick in, it was just so easy to find a reason why I simply didn't have the time to train or that I was too tired to do all that huffing and puffing after a hard day's work. The result would be that my attendance dwindled, I would stop training and get fatter and less fit. When I read about Ladyzone it seemed different so I went along to have a look and find out more. That was 3 months ago. Well all I can say is "WOW!" as I have been coming 4-5 times a week, often after work and I'm nowhere near bored and just feeling fantastic.

More about Anne Murray - 'Before Ladyzone I was overweight, my cholesterol and blood pressure were sky high and I was out of breath all the time. I needed to do something drastically but didn’t know what to do. I’d tried dieting before but it doesn’t increase your fitness levels and although I’ve lost weight before by dieting I always put it back on. I felt I had no options left. It was then that my daughter and husband read about Ladyzone and encouraged me to join. Even then I was dreading it. I thought everyone would be so much younger than me – which they’re not. Well I’ve lost 2 and a half stone and I feel as fit as a fiddle. I’ve had to buy new clothes and re-use old clothes that I haven’t been able to fit into for years. Now every time my daughter sees me she comments on how much better I look and even calls me “Twiggy!” I’m so much happier and so are
my family.
I’ve got arthritis in my feet, spine and hands and was therefore worried in the beginning that it might be a problem – but it wasn’t. Laura, (one of Ladyzone’s personal trainers) specifically designed my workout to incorporate all my injuries and problems. In fact I had a knee replacement a few months after joining Ladyzone and was able to get straight back into training after only a few weeks.

More about Wendy Swallow - " I suffer from 2 chronic conditions for which I am registered disabled. Firstly I’ve got lymphoedema in both legs which means that I have huge mobility problems and secondly I suffer from severe arthritis in my spine, neck, back and every major joint. I walk with the aid of a walking stick and I get easily tired.
I’ve tried conventional gyms and diets in the past but hated them and they didn’t work. I’ve tried toning tables but they weren’t effective enough. In fact I got so desperate that I even tried swimming and aqua aerobics when I’m afraid of water!
My weight and situation got so serious that I had to have gastric bypass surgery. It was my last option and I lost over a stone before joining Ladyzone.
Since then I discovered Ladyzone and now that I’ve used Ladyzone I feel like a new person. I’m fitter, more confident and happier. I’m walking better than ever and I’ve just seen my family again for the first time in a few months and they couldn’t believe the difference. Let’s just say photos were taken.
Ladyzone is great because I always feel relaxed when I’m there and I’m always treated like an individual. The staff are fantastic and I’m never afraid to ask for help.

More about Barbara Skevington - "Ladyzone has helped to change my life. The layout of the gym is intimate and unthreatening and the machines are so easy to programme. 30 minutes is all you need. There’s no queuing for machines. It’s just fantastic. Only you know which level you are on: there is no competition. The atmosphere in the gym is relaxed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. More about Lauren Curtis - “I managed to lose the baby weight after having my son, but when I went back to work I found that I had no time to exercise and actually put the weight back on! Working and having a small child made it very difficult to schedule time for me. Ladyzone’s 30 minute workout made it easy though. I could find half an hour to come after work or at the weekend.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There’s always a trainer on hand so if I want to change my programme, I can do it immediately. There’s no waiting to see the staff. He found that a 12-week HUR Circuit Training program 2 times a week had a significant improvement on both strength and cardiovascular capacity. Moreover, the program also had a huge toning effect.
