The LadyZone “your 30 minute relaxed workout” circuit is based around a simple 10 station concept. Members are guided around the circuit by a traffic light system. Members are always supervised by fully qualified instructors. This means that exercise is always performed correctly making for a more efficient workout and maximising results. The circuit incorporates all of the major elements of a successful workout. These are cardiovascular, resistance, free exercises and flexibility.

Hur Equipment

Our circuit works by increasing your heart rate to the required level and then sustaining it for 30 minutes. Thus users will improve their cardiovascular fitness, burn more calories and using specific muscle group resistance exercises will tone and shape the body.

The main body of the circuit is performed on specifically designed air resistance machines. These are:

Non-intimidating (only the person exercising will know what the resistance setting is)
Comfortable
Simple to use with a push button resistance setting and a repetition counter
Contain no noisy weight stacks.

Our circuit consists of separate machines where resistance levels can be set individually by the user with a simple push button. This means that no matter what your fitness level nobody is left out.

Because the machines have no inertial effects you can perform both fast and slow movements with the same delicate feel. If you feel you are not working hard enough, you simply speed up the movement and if you are working too hard you slow down. In this way you can always keep the intensity at an optimal and comfortable level.

The cause of joint and muscle soreness after exercise is due to jerking movements when using weight stacked equipment. Because our machines have no weight stacks the action is fluent and smooth. This eliminates any discomfort after the workout.

Cardiovascular
The circuit starts with a fully back supported recumbent cycle where your heart rate is increased to the optimal level. Your heart rate will then fluctuate between the fat burning and cardiovascular training zones as you move around the circuit creating an interval style of workout. To enhance the benefits of this circuit, LadyZone, your '''30 minute relaxed workout'' incorporates a unique 'compact' elliptical cross-trainer. The non-impact full body workout that the cross-trainer provides is situated half way round the circuit to ensure a cardiovascular boost. Cardiovascular exercise increases heart and lung efficiency, burns more calories during exercise and increases your metabolic rate. This allows the body to burn more calories when resting. So not only do you burn more calories during the workout but you will burn more in everyday life. It is very achievable to lose unwanted body fat at a rate of 2 pounds a week. Regular sessions of just 20 minutes or more of cardiovascular exercise have been shown by studies to dramatically reduce your risk of heart attacks, stroke and thrombosis.

Resistance
By using the air resistance machines specific muscle groups are targeted eg. back of the arms, inner/outer thighs, hips, bum, stomach etc. This increases your lean muscle tissue and decreases your body fat percentage, helping to reduce cellulite. This is the best way to tone and shape your body creating slimmer hips, toned bums, flatter stomachs and lifted busts. This will help improve your self- esteem and confidence.

By increasing your lean muscle tissue your body needs more energy at rest therefore increasing your metabolism. Resistance training also improves bone density helping to prevent osteoporosis which is more common in the female population. It is proven that a tennis player has 30% more bone density in her playing arm.

Free Exercises
Each member will have their own individual needs. As the circuit has two free stations it allows the qualified fitness instructor to devise exercises that target the areas you require. For example hips, bums and tums. This allows for variety in your workout and prevents you from becoming bored.

 Flexibility
As we age our suppleness decreases creating bad posture causing backaches, headaches etc. The final station is a uniquely designed stretch machine with separate stretches to gently realign the muscles after the workout to maintain and improve flexibility.
